Ryder Trauma Center At Jackson Memorial Hospital

When Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital opened its doors in 1992, it became one of the only stand-alone trauma centers in the nation. It has become the designated facility to treat the President of the United States, if necessary, as well as the home of the United States Army Trauma Training Center, where Army Forward Surgical Teams train and prepare to provide care to those injured on the battlefield.
